Close-up of delicate, pale green and white flowers with pointed petals and clustered centers, set against a soft, neutral background—evoking the gentle relief offered by thoughtful pain management solutions.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

Pain is a Platform

As I share the lessons from valley seasons, I see the nods and the tears swell. In my heart comes a whisper..”here is the fruit.” I am caught at the lunch break unable to even sit down to eat as…

Close-up of raindrops splashing and creating ripples on the surface of a body of water, with droplets visible in mid-air and a blurred background.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

Gripped

In a moment of sudden pressure His presence falls as rain And suddenly rendered silent I’m gripped as I whisper His name. For He’s come to reveal His heart now With direction and clarity clear And soon I find myself…

A powerful waterfall cascades over a rocky edge, creating thick mist and turbulent white water below, as if reflecting how love grows cold when overwhelmed by the relentless force and movement of time.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

Love Grows Cold

It starts in loving less our friends Even hiding little heart sins It moves to where compassion wanes Now we see love begins to fade. From passion and zeal for our fellow man To distance that grows with each demand…

Ocean waves cascade into a rocky, circular sinkhole at the shoreline under a dramatic, cloudy sunset sky. The scene captures the dynamic motion of water against rugged rocks.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

Treasures

There’s pearls and diamonds And royal gems Strings of beads And beaded trims Lace that’s lots And lots of lace Rubies and emeralds And amethysts made. There’s crowns that dazzle And scepters that shine Shiny fabrics with embroidered twine There’s…

A young woman with quiet strength lies on her back in a field of purple flowers and green grass, eyes closed and wearing a patterned yellow top, looking peaceful and relaxed.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

Quiet Strength

There’s a beautiful peace in knowing Christ sees your heart and circumstances and He has tenderly reassured you of His presence and path for you. When fervent prayer has preceded answers…an inner peace causes you to be immovable regardless of…

A narrow path covered with fallen leaves winds through a snowy landscape, bordered by trees with yellowish leaves. Snow lightly coats the ground and branches, evoking the tranquil beauty of Winter Nights with a faint village in the misty background.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

Winter Nights

It’s winter nights That draw thee near As wind’s blow thru That pierce as sheers. But in the chill A warmth ignites The Father’s love Does run from high. And when thy child Is near His fire Tells He does…

Word ARISE in bold letters

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

Arise…

I was getting a little antsy with the Lord as the Night at the Well event drew near. The Lord had only given me one word….literally. No scripture…nothing else. I have learned I am just not interested in a message…

A person walks alone down a snowy, deserted street at night, illuminated by a streetlamp. The scene feels timeless and moody—quietly waiting until it first rains—while buildings and bicycles line the sides under falling snow.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

Until It First Rains..

The rainbow can’t come Until it first rains Dandelions, tulips And lilies refrain The seed in the dirt Will be a dead weight And nothing shall grow Until it first rains. A dream it lays dormant Until it first rains…

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

When Strength Comes

When Strength Comes Your head starts to lift Christ has begun Restoring again. When strength comes Renewed is thy heart Passions restored Love is His mark. When strength comes Fear you’ll resist Press to the mark With true faithfulness. When…

A small sailboat with its elegant sail floats on a calm, expansive body of water under a hazy sky, with distant mountains barely visible on the horizon in this black-and-white image.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

Your Ship’s About To Sail….

“You’re ship is about to sail” I heard the shipmaster say It’s time to get on board The wind is blowing today. As a sailboat sails oceans deep It’s propelled by delicate winds. But should the wind cease to blow…

Shelly Wilson is a poet, psalmist, and messenger passionate about releasing a word in season to weary hearts.  Shelly is a champion for those who have lost their voice and she mentors many to become rooted in Christ in a way that raises them as modern day warriors. She is honored to birth out others with Christ-size dreams and is particularly fond of spotting the gifts in women and girls.  Her favorite thing to teach is how to hear God’s voice and cultivate awareness of His presence in every day life.  She loves to speak on how the scriptures are living and breathing by giving examples through creation testifying, Holy Spirit communion, or His language through prophetic eyes. She will often nudge others to take hold of child-like faith and wonder again.
