In downtown Troup in East Texas we tend many hearts through our Where there Heart Heals ministry which includes support groups and classes. Below is a list of our current gatherings. All groups meet monthly. Scroll down to see the upcoming meetings.
The Healing Group is a deep healing group where we discuss all manners of pain. Abuse of all kinds, grief, loss, rejection, low self-esteen, forgiveness of others and yourself, abandonment, and more. We often use prayer for any necessary deliverance needs and it is not uncommon for our meetings to runs late. We do our best to meet each need for the evening but you are welcome to leave early at any time.
We also offer a Divorce Recovery Support Group to foster family within new divorcees and to be a source of encouragement during healing and while getting back on your feet. It is important to us that you know God still has a plan for your life. A plan to prosper you, not harm you and to give you hope and a future. You are not forgotten or disqualified from the promises and love of Jesus. We also share resources with one another so you do not feel alone as you start fresh on a new season of life.
The Boundaries Class will get you stronger at understanding what is your responsibility and what is not, how to navigate conflict, and how to guard your heart and life so you and others can fulfill the call of God on your life to it’s fullest.
