To Know God’s Way With You

There is a critical need in the body of Christ today as a whole and as individuals to hear the voice of God. We tend to compartmentalize how He speaks..trying to box Him in when it has not been His…

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

In His Grip

In His grip I see His suffering Deep grief as Father weeps An inner shaking of a gentle giant Yet with fury as the King of Kings. Debauchery fills His vision His gaze too pure to see Yet anger of…

Growing a Warrior..

There will be times in your walk with Christ that the trials surge with power. However, lesser still are they than the power of Christ Himself. I have learned much through His Word, His presence, and His nature…yet the greatest…

When You Stay Too Long…

Isn’t it hard to move to new places with the Lord sometimes? The heart is so deeply entangled with things of this world. Yet something inside of us stirs until we feel the heaviness of our “staying”…when we have “out…

A narrow dirt path winds through a fairytale forest, lush green moss covering the ground and scattered fallen leaves, as if from a lost slipper in a children's book, surrounded by tall trees and soft light filtering through the branches.

The Lost Slipper

The Lost Slipper A limp is noticed in thy sway A slipper lost along the way The road has swallowed and buried names Unclaimed My daughter’s inheritance today. She’s climbed the stairs and left her coach For Satan has caused…

Through His Eyes

It matters not what you see…only what He sees….then we must believe Him.. Through His Eyes I am lovely and holy A jewel carved by His hand. Through His eyes I am a warrior princess A daughter of the Great…

Thy Mountains..

How sweet it is upon the mount with Christ. Just as Moses experienced..His presence can leave you with such radiance aglow. I often would like to stay in my little closet..for it’s safe there with my Father. But there is…

A wooden dock extends over a clear, calm lake surrounded by dense green trees and tall mountains under a blue sky with light clouds.

Reflection

Isn’t sin so subtly destructive…little things are big things. We have become a people who declare ourselves of “little sins”..therefore we somehow feel it alright with our souls. Yet joy will flee…His life in us will fade..and soon we will…

Three people stand in a sunlit field of tall grass at sunset, with dramatic clouds overhead and golden light illuminating the landscape.

Plough..

I noticed this word today and it began to linger in my heart. I began to look into this word and see what the Lord might be saying. verb: plough 1. turn up the earth of (an area of land)…

Where My Heart Rests

I have been pondering something a sweet man spoke to me after I ministered in Louisiana. He had a prophetic gifting and the gentleness and humility of his spirit and heart showed me that I could trust him. I knew…

Shelly Wilson is a poet, psalmist, and messenger passionate about releasing a word in season to weary hearts.  Shelly is a champion for those who have lost their voice and she mentors many to become rooted in Christ in a way that raises them as modern day warriors. She is honored to birth out others with Christ-size dreams and is particularly fond of spotting the gifts in women and girls.  Her favorite thing to teach is how to hear God’s voice and cultivate awareness of His presence in every day life.  She loves to speak on how the scriptures are living and breathing by giving examples through creation testifying, Holy Spirit communion, or His language through prophetic eyes. She will often nudge others to take hold of child-like faith and wonder again.
