Will You Go?

Will You Go?

Will You Go?

If a hurting soul is bedridden

Can Jesus send you there?

For in the hospital you might go

To be a light to share.

If in a prison, a heart’s in pain

Is there any room

For your heart to sacrifice

Tell me, can He send you?

If at midnight, a heart’s in distress

Jesus says, “Will you go?”

And answer that call to be real sure

A life stays safely in tow.

If into the impoverished Jesus calls

Have you heard your name?

Or do you keep on walking by

The poor and the lame?

If into an invisible hidden realm

Christ does call you, “Come.”

Can you be so satisfied

With applause only from the Son?

Or do we hunger for status great

Forgetting of The Word

That when the time of Heaven comes

The last shall be the first.
