The past few nights I have been engulfed in a Henry Blackaby teaching of the scriptures. What a hunger he has stirred in my heart again for revival. It sent me to my knees crying out to the Lord for the outpouring of His presence among us. I am afraid we know not what we are missing friends. But something he says in these videos which I will post below has grabbed my heart. A few weeks ago the Lord gave me a poem called “Thy Shepherd’s Heart?” So when I turned this video on and the message was the same my Spirit began to swell and I knew God had a message for us. It’s the kind of thing you can not make up or rationalize except a supernatural breath of God for something deep in His heart. Then my next thought was..”oh Lord help me do my part..” I pray you will listen and then pray earnestly that He will sanctify us..His people..that we may then be used to draw those in need of Him.
Thy Shepherd’s Heart
(written a few weeks before I viewed the Blackaby videos)
Where is thy shepherds heart That tendeth to thy sheep Looking for the one That fell away from thee. Where is thy shepherds heart? Who leads with Father’s love That shows thy mercy true Of Fathers heart above. Where is thy shepherds heart? That mends and heals the lame? Who washes feet of those given by His Grace. Where is thy shepherds heart? Who gives the Spirit way Humbly bowing to each move that He makes. Where is thy shepherds heart? That grieves over the lost Not just those lost thru fire but those lost from his flock.Father, help us believe your word as you have written. Open our eyes and ears to hear that we may walk blameless before you on that day. May we be about that which is important to you rather than asking you to be about what is important to us. I have failed in this many times. Yet today I want more than ever to join your work..wherever it may be..in whatever capacity you desire. For I simply desire to be with you and see your power manifest in a most beautiful way. Have mercy on us Lord and help us see…
Love Much,
Shelly
