Wherever you choose to use me
Feel free to move me there
Wherever it is not, Lord,
Please do remove my stare.
Wherever my land is appointed
And the inheritance held for me
Wherever my joys and my sorrows
Can help set the captives free.
Where that which you’ve given is welcome
And used to tend Your sheep
Where stifled, hindered, or mocked Lord
Please do remove my feet.
Wherever the hurting needs hugging
Where the sorrowing grieve in despair
Wherever the imprisoned is gathered
Father …please take me there.
Where fields are ripe for a harvest
And the low lying fruit just hangs
Where you’ve prepared the hearts Lord
O Father, I’ll carry Your Name.
To wherever you’ve scribbled my name Lord
To that place in need of my gifts
For wherever you thought me born for
It is there I desire to live.
