When the page turns and the chapter’s closed
When the bud blooms and the flower’s a rose.
When seasons change and the hillside is new
When the Lord says, “it’s time you shall move.”
When the scenery is unfamiliar shades
When Christ lifts your chin setting thy face.
When the last breath is drawn as you close
A chapter of life and it’s time to “now go.”
When He lets you see the end of a thing
And His hands grasp yours “prying” to lead.
When that final gulp accompanies resolve
To never look back like Lots wife now lost.
When peace in thy heart now reigns within thee
Realizing Christ is calling from deep.
When He let’s you see it’s time to give in
Embrace the path He’s cleared with His wind.
Yes, when the page turns and the chapter now ends
You rise from your knees and whisper “Amen…”
You glance now around to see open doors
Hearing Him call forth “immeasurably more…”

Isaiah 43:19
19 Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert.
