Such agony can be seen in the eyes of another. Sadness, grief, but also anger and bitterness. Honestly, eventually it can be seen manifesting itself in illness as well as the emptiness of the eyes. Ever looked into the eyes of one who seems to have no life? No sparkle or light? Just darkness..Traveling you see much with the Lord. Hidden things not spoken of even. The Holy Spirit can give much discernment at any moment showing you how to pray or even to see beyond the natural. One thing I know is the look of anger and bitterness. The face is bleak and the eyes are darkened at times if not sunken in. Almost hollow..empty, aimless…no joy, no hope…Truly the Word tells us bitterness is as poison..slowly toxic to the human heart, body, and soul. If you find it taking root in your heart please confess it and let the Lord shine His beautiful light on it. Once He is given the opportunity, He will begin to heal that broken place and bring you life and hope. Don’t worry, you will not have to do it on your own…He will walk every step with you to full restoration. Lay it before Him on the altar…He shall burn it up once and for all. Then beauty will arise..
When Anger Rises
There’s bitterness deep refusing to sleep
In hollowed eyes it can be seen
When darkened roots have settled and stewed
Anger Rises with pressures that bruise.
Joy dissipates as roots do swell
Growing and growing into deep wells
Death it is lurking those who allow
Anger to rise as a consuming shroud.
Christ is the light that shines as the sun
Breaking thru darkness haunting anyone
Yet you must soon yield His divine command
Resting assured your life in His hands.
Bitterness is poison and is slow to kill
But as His word says..kill you it will.
It will manifest in natural form
Sin has a way of showing thy scorn.
Oh there is hope in one mighty name
JESUS OH JESUS His love still remains
Give Him thy anger and bitterness soon
His love will draw it all out of you.
The yoke that’s entangled all of your heart
Will break at its root, His light knows the spot.
The heaviness will flee and burdens birth song.
As spirits of darkness are commanded “Be Gone!.”
