When you’re weary He gives you strength

Right when you’re in need.

When you’re feeling lost and alone

He’ll bring you to His heart home.

When a faithful friend cannot be found

He’ll turn upside down your frown.

When you long to see Him more

He’ll walk right through that door.

When you think your life is done

And retirement is your plan.

He’ll give you another assignment

To go again and fish for man.

When you’re thirsty and need a drink

He’ll fill you to the brim.

And when you’re down and out

He’ll stand you up again.

When you’re too tired to fight

It really is quite alright.

For the battle is truly His
