it is not a vain thing to desire to be used in your divine calling. It is the will of the Father that you do…actually the scriptures say “desire earnestly..” for it is how He designed you to bring Him glory. Our fulfillment will never be complete until we have discovered the gifts Christ placed within us. It is our duty to discover and examine our lives and it is the will of the Father for us to embrace and say yes to using these gifts. Joy, according to the scripture, is also tied to using our gifts and moving in our assignments. To never unlock that which Christ preordained in you is grievous to His own heart. You were made for a mission. Should you not fulfill that which He birthed you for..something goes undone. If you are not operating in your giftings…someone is getting robbed. Someone in need of the Christ in you and how He uses you and you, yourself, will also be robbed of joy and fulfillment. It is also critical to ask the Lord where to use these gifts. Your gifts make room for you…but sometimes only if you are in the right room. You have an assignment and you have a field….isn’t it time you obeyed that which Christ has put you here for? Unwrap the gifts in you my friends…
There’s a gift inside of you
And probably more than one
God formed it with His hands
And breathed it in your lungs.
You’ll never be fully whole
If wrapped it always stays
For Christ meant it to shine
A path of light each day.
See Satan will pull no punches
To silence what’s inside of you
He’ll make a reasonable argument
For you to cease pursuit.
And if you are not careful
Stolen this gift will be
So do unwrap your gift
There is now an urgency.
You may be hoarding a pen
A “ready writer” may be your task
Yet if you choose beautiful bows
The gift will remain unwrapped.
Or maybe a prophet seer..a teacher
Or Shepherd He’s made
Oh, the world has renamed us much
But Christ is restoring ancient days.
Perhaps with David you swell
Your heart takes ready for flight
Because what Christ wove in you
Is a Psalmist to which you are like.
Oh goodness a preacher He made!!!
But Satan has used all his tricks
He’s silenced the possibilities
By men who don’t recognize this.
For listen!!! When formed in the womb..
It was then He called you to be
The gift embodying the Christ
So unwrap the gift is His plea.
