Uncharted Territory

For a couple of days I kept hearing these two words, “uncharted territory.” I thought it so interesting but just waiting to see what the Lord might do with it.

“Uncharted Territory”

There is a path that some must take

The trail that never has been blazed

Still unexplored, a new terrain

An uncharted, unfamiliar place.

A pasture never yet been grazed

Appointed only your feet He gave

A pasture of fresh and rough terrain

A territory not yet with a name.

Among the first to truly explore

Or settle a long standing score

Here familiar no longer exists

A trailblazer truly is called to this.

So if you’re seeking comfort’s grin

A familiar place of “remember whens”

He’s taking you down a way you’ve not been

Uncharted is the place that you will be sent.

If waiting you are for full security

You’ll find it only in The King

By leaning on His every Word

And trusting when your visions blurred.

Keep in your hand Thy rod and staff

Mark with stones your winding path

Others soon will follow too

When Christ does show His strength through you.

Fear nor worry will cover these

For they will journey entirely free

Their training secured on bended knees

Prepared by wilderness ways and means.

The waters now are ever vast

The rising tide will roll in fast

For soon you’ll see His plotted path

Charted by only Heavens map.
