One of the hardest things to do is to realize the path you’ve been on was never God appointed.
There was a season where I muzzled the warning of God in fear of man. The cost to my life, my family, my health, and my ministry was devastating. I had the full ability and opportunity given by God to stop the movement forward and turn around. I did not.
Years later after being approached by a gracious person with what seemed like a good offer, I had that same terrifying warning in my spirit. I immediately declined. I certainly did not want to live that past lesson over again.
What a waste of much pain if I just kept making the same mistakes again and again never learning the divine lessons in it all. That is the definition of insanity and often we can see those types of patterns in many of God’s own people.
Listen, let’s all just graduate from that school, okay? God is faithful!
The fear of how it might look to let go of such a thing usually is what keeps us. However, that is pride in a crafty form and must be crucified once and for all. God’s way is always best. It is for your good. There is safety in God’s plan. To the contrary, your plan offers no such promise.
What is it that keeps nagging at you? You keep ignoring it hoping it will go away. You’ve rationalized it until your blue in the face. “It will be fine.” I’m here to tell you, it won’t. You’ve even used scripture to justify it all. Don’t you think it’s time to let it go and see where Christ wants to take you? You are missing out on a glorious adventure with The King!
What are you waiting for?
It’s time to turn around.
