In your zeal to fulfill your calling don’t miss-step or over-step the personal need for healing.
God walks many into the Ecclesiastes 3, “time to heal” season but many jump out way too soon, try to avoid it, or circle around it.
I was that one, too, in a season and I can’t tell you what a huge mistake it was. I wish I had known then what I know now. I caused my own delay.
Some of us need to realize that the “time to heal” season is as significant to our calling and destiny as any other season.
Likely, there’s a training in it that you must have for your future in Christ.
Often I see women exit too soon. Healing and deliverance is not always a “one and done” and if you resist the “time to heal” season you’ll get into a real pickle.
You might accidentally hurt people because you didn’t get some wisdom you would need to tend wounded hearts.
If God is calling you to help the hurting then you had best listen to His instructions in your own “time to heal” season.
Eyes that are covered by a lens of undealt with pain will cause a wake in others’ lives. You do not want to be found in this place. The disaster will not be limited to just you.
If the pained valley hasn’t chiseled in you some gentleness and patience then hold up a hot minute because you’re going to murder wounded hearts in all of your zeal for “ministry.”
If other voices are steering you then that needs to get settled in deliverance until those devils are gone because, listen, let’s make sure when we’re laying hands on people that it’s the Spirit of God, not another.
We must be able to discern our own seasons and act accordingly.
Misery will love company and if we’re not careful we will steer people to wherever we are instead of steering them to freedom in Christ.
If you’re still in the “test” you may need to wait on God to get to the unfolding of that “testimony” so you’re not bleeding all over others in their own places of need.
I am not saying we must be fully healed in every aspect before moving forward. We will always need more healing on this side of Glory. However, we do need trusted people who can shoot us straight when they see gaps still needing tending.
Have you found yourself in an unwanted “time to heal” season?
If so, just know that even though you didn’t want it, Jesus does.
Don’t skip the training. You’re going to need it up ahead.
Ecclesiastes 1-3
There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every matter under Heaven.
A time to give birth and a time to die;
A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted.
A time to kill and a time to heal…
