The Stripping

There is a season of stripping that Joseph must endure. From the prophetic dreams of the Lord’s heart comes a wilderness season of training. It is the only way to prophetic fulfillment.

Joy resides with a dream

Of future prophetic things

But soon is allotted a storm

That lasts for years more.

For as The Christ gives sight

A great expanse opens wide

Where pits and prisons persist

This too must now commence.

A stripping of a colored coat

Will be for us each very close

It seems the dream now afar

But sent ahead you are with scars.

Each one does speak of His heart

And lessons of ruling are shot

By arrows of poisoned stings

Yet, destined by Christ the King.

A road must call thy name

To teach now how to reign

With gentleness and care giving hearts

Of that which You see as loss.

But this is the carpet of red

Where royals will face sudden death

Where the Word will come now to test

Preparing your life for His crest.

So now as you look all around

And others have left with the crowds

Christ is keeping you near

For intimate training and gear.

And when it is finished indeed

And what you once saw in your dreams

Begins to soon come alive

Others will see Jesus Christ.
