The River is Rising
For the soldiers in the trenches tired of the hype towards a false prosperity and mountain climbing.
Let’s be clear in this hour that there is a war raging and Jesus is calling for combat boots. If we continue to fall for the fluff instead of the tough, we will not be ready for the next assignment.
God has a battlefield that is currently full of soldiers in training. It looks like a desert void of life but they are learning to lean on the Commander in Chief for victory.
Many leaders are trudging through a dark and deep valley where you think you’re missing something while the rest cry out “Peace, peace!”
You’re not hearing wrong. You’re in tune with Heaven. You feel the stirring of a “thing” you cannot yet describe. It’s greater than just you but you are unable to see it in the natural just yet.
Many false prophets have risen. They bring only counterfeit kingdoms desiring you to take the bait. But Gods true prophets feel a burden in their Spirit. They can hear the war horses being prepared. They know peace often comes through war. They are getting dressed for battle as we speak.
Many follow the “feel goods” because it is always about “me.” It is the gospel of self not the gospel of Christ.
I’m telling you, gird up your loins and assemble the troops. The river is rising.
He is teaching your hands to war and preparing your fingers for battle. Hand to hand combat is on its way.
Building will not be a selfish-ambition move but one of self-sacrificing. Go low and hunker down in prayer. You’re not hidden but you are in God’s bunker.
But, listen, the river is rising.
You are being positioned.
The enemy’s camp is near but the Lord of Hosts is as well. His army is still greater. You will be a mighty foot soldier. Wait His command to take the territory. He will flank His people in a way that will bring full victory and all will know that He is the LORD.
We need the helper, Holy Ghost. We’re in a battle where we have not discerned well the “Holy” verses the “hype.” The hindered verses the loosed. The imprisoned verses the freed.
But the river is rising, still, and when God’s sharpshooters rise they will not wither. They were prepared in the valley of giants.
Many have ears but do not hear. Eyes but do not see. The milk has lulled us to sleep and we are iron deficient for lack of meat.
Manmade manifestations are out of this world indeed but the source is not the light of Jesus. It’s not even the devil really. It’s just human will and manipulation.
But that river is rising higher and higher.
You’ll be tempted to go where the “good words” are released that fill your flesh. But take a look again at the scriptures.
Through death comes life.
Let the river rise.
Be sure that while there are many lovely moments with Christ, He is advancing His Kingdom in a way that will mark us forever.
It will cost you and it will kill you.
But you will now be a much needed medicine for a hurting world delivering food and fruit that will last.
If you still say “Yes” knowing war is at hand, then you have done well keeping your eyes on Jesus. No turning back, no turning back.
Exodus 15:3
The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.
Psalm of David. Blessed be the LORD my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle—Psalm 144:1
“And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters go there; for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes. “Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.”
Ezekiel 47:9-12
