The journey to healing comes with a rugged terrain whereby Christ begins to uncover everything that is hidden that harms.
Tucked away in many little nooks and crannies are pain-filled places you thought perhaps He would leave be.
But we serve the God of freedom. Freedom from sin but also freedom from lingering chains that have become locked doors in our hearts.
One thing I’ve learned is that healing can seem to hurt worse than the initial pained arrows. It’s like physical therapy for the heart. Ripping those band-aids off can bring an unexpected jolt to your system.
Take, for instance, a shoulder or knee rehab. They say you gotta push through the pain to get to the healing. It’s the same with the heart. You’ll want to run from the pain of it all but if you don’t see it through, you’ll be stuck until you do.
Choose life friends. Walk valiantly through the pain. On the other side of the process is something beautiful.
You won’t even recognize yourself. Nor will others
