I know.
The devil is a master at needling your heart.
You want desperately to protect yourself from further pain but Jesus loves your gentle ways.
The devil hates it with a passion.
Laced with kindness and patience you’ve served well needs of the broken.
The very thing that makes you vulnerable serves well the vulnerable.
Don’t become hard-hearted, dear one.
The enemy will always be busy trying to move you, erase you, and stirring up jealousy against you. But Jesus gets the final say and His positioning for you is yet higher than you thought or imagined.
Don’t despise what seems like weakness. Meekness is merely restrained power and wisdom will often render you silent in the face of the enemy’s master plan.
What often seems like an undercover sting of the enemy is a redemptive move of God to set you apart and you can trust Him fully.
Don’t compromise to get along.
Don’t martyr yourself to feel like you belong.
Don’t dumb down the Christ in you to keep the crew.
Jesus says, “Come along, now.”
If you’ll close your eyes you’ll see Him reaching out His righteous right hand as those words are whispered and it might do you well to reach back when it might seem silly. Yet, it will be a prophetic act and declaration to all of Hell that the plan backfired and shot you forward into your purpose.
Don’t let the battle change you.
Don’t let it harden you.
Don’t let it destroy you.
Let it strengthen you.
The needling is quite painful but it has a distinct way of rightly positioning you.
