God always has something on His mind in any room.
Often there is a sudden shift where you realize….ahhh this is it.
Then suddenly He comes for the lame.
God is releasing many from bondage in this hour. Caged birds, lame men and women, oppressed orphans.
All being called by name to come take their seat at His table.
They’ve been overlooked and misused.
Kept quiet and put away.
But just like Mephibosheth, the King calls them out of obscurity into the palace.
Don’t be afraid,” David said to him, “for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will always eat at my table.” 2 Samuel 9:7
God is a covenant God and He takes good care of His own.
While you feel isolated and alone, disconnected and forgotten…there comes a knock on your door.
The King has sought after you.
It seems like that past tragedy would take your very life and leave you with no inheritance at all. But God.
It’ll look like the worst train wreck you’ve ever seen until that smoke disperses and your hope might indeed be fading.
You’ll spend many nights asking, “Where is God?”
But, wait for it… He is coming and when He does…
You will become all you were meant to be and He will escort you, personally, to your seat at His table.
The wreckage only wrecked the “less than life” you were living. Now, you will enter into the abundant life with Christ.
The lame will walk, the dead will hear, and like the song says…the dead will live again.
Spiritual eyes will become clear, hearing Gods voice is no longer a muffled sound you strain for, and you begin to sense that a new flickering flame has now been lit.
Every word curse overturned.
Every lie of the devil exposed.
Every snare gone.
Your season of freedom has arrived.
Remember the lessons in that valley place. They will become your weapons in the Kingdom.
Put away who you thought you were.
The King has something better.
You may have thought that the very place that was left “lame” in you would somehow remove you from Gods great exploits.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Look at this treasure:
Isaiah 33:23 Then prey and spoil in abundance will be divided; even the lame will take the prey.
