The Harvesting Call

There is a seed planted deep

Covered by the darkest of soil

Hidden from view equipped as a tool

The handmaidens of the Lord.

With a nurturing spirit given by Christ

To tend the hearts in need

The mothering voices soon shall rise

Once stolen by the thief.

They’ll carry Christ’s staff and unique roadmaps

“Sent ones” to lands near and far

Fear will not reside in their eyes

They carry The Christ with deep scars.

They’ll see to the need of little seedlings

As Jesus with gentle heart tears

Moved with compassion and unction’s of action

Jesus will guide them dear.

Come walk, please, beside

These daughters of Christ

Honor them once and for all

For just as did Paul exhort them as strong

Co-laborers in the harvesting call.
