You won’t have to force what Jesus has called you to. It will naturally show itself because it is part of who you are. It is a place of fruit production.
Others may recognize it in you before you even do.
Jesus knows exactly who you are, even when you do not. It’s why seeking Him faithfully and being obedient in the small things is so important. It’s all part of the process. Each step takes you deeper into His heart to know Him better, as well as knowing who you’re called to be better.
There are many biblical principles that we can cling to. One is sowing and reaping.
What we sow, we will reap. Take it to the bank. This can be financial, time, or heart postures towards God or even people.
When we rob God of what is His, then we will also rob ourselves.
If we sow laziness, then we won’t reap much. If we sow disobedience, then our garden will be unfruitful. If we neglect the garden, then nothing will grow.
Who you are in Christ will produce a ripe and lush harvest, but only accompanied by faithfulness. Whatever we neglect will cease to be fruitful. It may be a ministry or even relationships. What you don’t tend will not mend or flourish.
You were certainly born for more, but you’ll have to want to cultivate that “more.” Jesus won’t just hand it over void of trials and testings to see if your character and resolve is solid.
If your garden is lacking, then look within. Have you been faithful to that which has been entrusted to you? Do distractions constantly steal your focus away from God’s mission assigned to you?
We are in a season where He is looking for faithful servants.
The harvesters.
Are you one of them?
