I’d leave that spot empty if I were you.
If God hasn’t approved that move then you had best hold off.
Too often we fill spots with the wrong people. Everyone loses.
We keep one from their God given place simply because we were so desperate to fill what we thought was our immediate need. Then the house of cards we built on flesh comes tumbling down like a gambling gone wrong.
Listen, the devil is a master at filling holes. You’ll have a team full of counterfeits if you’re not careful. Or in the very least you’ll have some innocent hearts hungry to serve set up for failure because they’ve been placed in the wrong position.
Deception loves an open door and the enemy is patient to wait knowing that you’ll pick anybody and everybody when you’re backed up against a wall.
You’ll find out soon you went backwards instead of forward.
When God sent for the anointing of the boy David as King, everyone had their own idea of who it would be. Even the prophet was confused and David’s father was none the wiser of how God called a man. (This includes women)
Likewise, what if Israel had kept looking for a man to lead them into war when all along God had chosen a woman named Deborah? It’s a good thing they didn’t seem to mind.
You see, when the right person has received the nod of the Almighty for a position and place you’ll surely know it.
God indeed does the choosing.
You won’t have to wonder. His presence will be with them. He will supernaturally flow from them. It will be effortless and the wind of the Spirit will be a mighty rushing wind healing and delivering the captives in a precious and unique way.
They were simply designed for the space. It is who they were formed to be. They don’t have to force it or conjure up passion, it comes naturally to how He made them.
And what a beautiful sight to see when one of God’s vessels gets perfectly positioned. Everybody wins and most importantly, everybody gets to see The Christ working through mankind.
Let us inquire of the Lord for every decision, friends. We must follow Him….
Often I’ve found we think He should follow us…
If God has not yet revealed His choice, then keep that empty space, empty.
