I find often a death precedes a birthing of something new.
The doors close suddenly and losses build and it appears the enemy is at work. Often he may be hidden in the mix of things but still the sovereign Lord reigns.
It’s an interesting observation that on the heels of tragedy rides triumph in some odd way and certainly while our hearts are breaking over the losses; Heaven is in great anticipation of a sudden surprise you are not aware of just yet.
Someone goes home to Heaven and a new baby enters this dimension.
Similarly is life in the Spirit.
The exit of a thing is a great preamble singing softly of a coming shift. Where tears from the tearing are sown into a deep garden with hidden flowers waiting to bloom.
Flowers one has yet to consider in the midst of flooding failures and what seems like volcanic eruptions.
The Valley of Achor (trouble) door was a shock. You didn’t see it coming. Yet, Christ did. His plan will hold true and firm. No weapon formed shall prosper in the end.
While it seems the trouble stirred up angst, you have yet to see the pouring of promise and re-entry of things necessary and hidden in your heart. Yearnings that have yet been spoken aloud but Heaven sees its whispers down deep.
Often, we missed the nudges that our direction had gone amiss and now Christ is merely maneuvering the ship back on course.
Now you return to His path with valuable lessons you did not have before. You overlooked things. People. Places. All God sent.
But in a season of struggle the enemy stole and plundered what you took for granted. Now it becomes crystal clear.
The picture is bigger than you knew. It’s not about loss or trouble at all. It is a divine course correction that you had been blind to for years.
The door is opening through the troubled waters. Yet, on the other side is a vineyard. The vineyard Christ had always designed for you. Full of fruit. Full of flowers. Full of oil. Full of joy.
The end of the thing sent you back to the beginning of the thing.
And what you’ve thought would kill you has made you stronger.
A deep cleansing breath can be heard upon the wings of the wind now. The shift has occurred. The course is set. Correction has done its work and the slamming of doors has opened the divine appointed door that has been waiting you all along.
As you tearfully watch the past door shut, trust Jesus. The closed door effectively opened a new one. Walk into it.
Carry your lessons with you. Others will need to hear what you have learned.
