Our lives with Christ are full of choices. Sometimes it’s easier to do opposite of what God has asked of you. Yet if we love Him we will obey Him. This song really is the random process of my mind and heart with Christ. The choices I must make with Him and the wrestling that occurs in this fight we are in. It is a battle. If I listen to the world I’ll hear people can’t change, yet Christ changed me and according to His Word..nothing is impossible for Him. We must fill ourselves with His truth..not the enemy’s lies. We must remember His faithfulness in our past and be encouraged He will not forsake us in our present. When choosing, measure your decision next to His Word and nature and always let peace reign. We are all learning His way with us..as we spend time with Him, we will get to know Him better. In this ,we will trust greater and choose to believe.
I choose to believe
In what I can’t see
I choose to love
When hate would be so easy
I choose faith
Faith to walk away
To an unfamiliar place
Won’t you help me choose faith.
And I choose to hope
That people can change
And I choose your peace
Oh your peace, when nothin’ else remains
I choose grace
When sin is in my face
For it’s why ya died and ya came
Won’t you help me choose grace.
And it would be easy to just run away.
It would be easy to sometimes just stay.
But I’m choosin’ to go
Even if I go alone
Oh I promised I would follow
Father help me to go.
Yea it would be easy to sometimes run away. Yes it would.
It would be easy to sometimes choose to stay.
And if I choose fear
Would ya kindly lend an ear
Bring me back thru all those tears
Father if I choose fear
Yea bring me back through all of those tears
Father if I choose fear.
I choose to believe…
