Be cautious my friends of what and whom you allow into your life, homes, or ministries. Not everything, nor everyone, is as they seem. We must now more than ever be very wise. There is a very real spiritual world all around us. We are battling not flesh and blood but principalities….things unseen. Guard yourself most when you are weary of the fight. The enemy will not refrain coming in such a moment. Remember the woman who followed Paul for days…speaking such flattery and seemingly all the right words…yet was possessed by a “spirit.” Ask the Lord to stir up the gifts of the Spirit within you for wisdom and knowledge..that you may see truth that is veiled. Then ask Him for boldness to speak against that which is sent by the enemy. In this hour….we must be willing to speak boldly and unashamedly. Paul set an example..
There is caution in the death of a thing
When prowlers will come and sing
When buzzards and vultures circle bout
To feed off the rubble and devour.
They’ll pick at the wounded and lame
Quickly they run in to claim
Plunder of one’s saddened state
They are scavengers sent from Hell’s way.
When weeping is needed with thee
Some will refuse even to see
The cold-hearted man rises up
To receive benefits of dead love.
Discernment of supernatural means
Is required for us to now see
For the saintliest of saints can fall prey
To wolves and hyenas dressed to save.
Thy closet best be a common stay
And Holy Spirit a friend closely made
Or in your very moment of pain
The scavengers will take what remains…
