Christ is dealing with profaned platforms.

Definition of Profaned: treat (something sacred) with irreverence or disrespect.

Much like the story of the sons of Eli, we have a hidden sin issue within leadership circles. The Bible is very clear on the weight of leadership. It is not to be taken lightly.

Many have taken pulpits and platforms preaching Jesus while secretly combing through pornography and more. It is not unseen. Jesus is coming for a cleansing.

Holiness will always be the way of Jesus. Sexual sins of any kind cannot be preached against while being allowed on our own platforms. God is not partial.

You, and I, must decide if we will go the way of Jesus or keep harboring the sin. Alliances have turned a blind eye and the Lord is now dealing with Eli and his sons.

Some of us wonder why worship renders little to no presence of God. Listen, it might be that we have a profaned platform.

“Christian Ministry and Industry” has become blind to holiness and repentance of sin.

There was a time when I was set to enter into a worship leading role. The first rehearsal I heard the Lord say, “You will not enter in here.” I didn’t understand at all but I did obey the Lord and stepped down from that role.

I would find out eventually of a hidden pattern of adultery and long-standing pornography problem within the worship team.

The platform was rendered unclean. The Lord would not allow me to even touch it.

I am not talking of imperfections to which we all are striving to become better and keep letting Christ crucify sin in our lives. But we often operate in our churches with no discernment of God. Very often, we want what, and who, we want with little consideration of the walk with Christ.

Listen, we must stop filling empty spots with just any warm body. You need a vessel of God. Talent will get you nowhere, including the throne room. Wait until God’s man, or woman, is sent. He longs to be ushered in through pure worship.

The devil is great at a masquerade especially if the church has no eyes to see spiritual things. Satan can talk and walk publicly a good game. You, and I, better plead for the gift of “discerning of spirits.”

Because the church has had its guard down and the boundary lines have been blurred-because those lines have been overlooked, rejected, denied, or found lacking in fervent warfare, Christ must come to pull down the modern day Eli’s and his sons.

It is not something to rejoice over but something to weep over. Christ is preparing the bride. He is exposing many things. He begins in His own house.

… But Jesus is raising up the Samuel’s who have committed their ways to the Lord who can be trusted to care for the sanctuaries and platforms of God.
