Pride is a terrible thing.
A stubborn bent that keeps us reeling.
That which lies in wait to ruin beautiful plans of the Lord.
Pride.
It precedes a tremendous fall.
It wrecks glorious plans.
It divides friendships.
It puffs up.
It is unable to discern the log in the eye.
Pride.
Pride drove King Saul mad. Took his respect.
Took his wisdom.
Wore him weary.
Robbed him of destiny.
Pride.
It mocks God.
It makes excuses.
It refuses help.
It dishonors others.
Pride.
It causes us to be unteachable.
It resists Godly wisdom.
It refuses to admit wrongs.
It stirs up wrath.
Pride
It brings a shame and folly.
It destroys.
It can even be a spirit.
It is an unseen chain.
Bondage of the worst kind.
Pride.
When not dealt with, it can become a strongman’s home.
A place of piety.
Pharisaical living.
Pride.
Get rid of it…before it gets rid of you..
