It’s become no secret around here that every aspect of what we are seeing God do is based and bathed in prayer.
When it’s time for someone to receive deliverance, we go to prayer.
When we’re petitioning for healing, we’re bombarding Heaven in prayer.
When I’m trying to navigate my rooms with God’s heart rather than my own, I’m ahead of that meeting in prayer.
Prayer is not our last tool but our first.
It has been prayer that has risen to the throne as we are fighting against darkness and fighting for people.
Prayer.
There is nothing I can do here without God moving.
Nothing at all.
Prayer seems to stir Him to action even when I’m oblivious to it.
Sometimes before we’re into prayer God exposes a need that I have nothing to do with….what then do we do?
Prayer…we stop the meeting and go into prayer.
Prayer seems gentle at times in some moments and more like a roar in other moments.
The ladies will tell you that lately I’m getting a righteous indignation rising during prayer.
I’m sick and tired of the devil having a heyday with God’s people and I intend to travail like a woman in labor against him.
A woman in labor gets pretty messy at times but you need women willing to go into a birthing room on behalf of the bound.
You need people whose dignity is tossed out the window willing to utter groans no human wants to hear but it causes devils to scatter.
Prayer births things.
You won’t find a lot of piety and southern “proper-ness” in our rooms but you will find women willing to pounce on predators for the sake of your children’s lives.
It’ll get pretty messy up in here when you’re evicting devils from a house but let me tell you one thing, there’s only one winner when you start turning over tables and His name is Jesus.
In this hour, He is looking for people who will pray.
Prayer is a partnering with the Lord for a Kingdom work He is wanting to accomplish.
Preaching is good, but He wants a house of prayer.
Singing is good, but He wants a house of prayer.
I am the house and you are the house. Our churches and fellowships are also a type of house.
But are we, yet, a house of prayer?
Prayer is the secret weapon that alters satanic bloodlines, pulls down idols, cancels the effects of witchcraft, makes us a new creation, sets us free of demonic chains, and puts us in right alignment with Heaven’s plans.
Prayer….
….is so significant to God that He keeps them in golden bowls.
Rev 5:8 – When He had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
Whatever you might do, whatever program you might try to launch, whatever ministry you’re trying to birth…
It’ll wreck nothing of this darkness until you, and I, have surrender it all to become a house of prayer.
