At some point, you’ll have to see that you’ve been waiting on permission from people while you already had the permission of God.
Not everyone will understand what is in you. Some simply don’t know how to use what Jesus placed in you, and some frankly would rather keep you under their heel with an authority that is nothing more than a spirit of control.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.
Christ has been waiting for you to see that He has given you all the permission you need. If some refuse to see clearly your gift and put it to work, then He will move you to a place that will. He is fully committed to all He formed in you, and it was never meant to be hidden.
Some of you are in places that can’t understand what you carry because they’ve not yet experienced the ways of the Spirit. It’s not that they don’t support you, but they simply don’t know what they don’t know.
They are stuck in the routine of it all. The ritual of learned behavior. The moving of the lips but the denying of His power.
They aren’t really convinced in the now work of God whereby captives ought to be set free and meetings ought to include wreckage from the move of the Holy Spirit. They just do what they’ve always done and wonder why the atmosphere never changes.
If you’re waiting on permission from those around you to walk in what is already yours, you might be waiting your whole life. We are not to look to man, only to God.
Our system has idolized leaders in a way that has often trumped the voice of God. There is no man (or woman) today between you and Jesus. The veil was torn. You have direct access. Embrace the full work of the cross.
We certainly admire wise counsel, but some have not the wisdom from above, only the wisdom of man.
How long will you wait for them to give you a nod of approval when God has already given it?
After reading this, perhaps get quiet with God and ask Him where you should be moving to in this hour.
Permission has already been granted to you. Now go fulfill your ministry.
But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.
(2Timothy 4:5)
