Pace Yourself

Pace Yourself

Pace Yourself

We have made several new shifts that God is calling for us in this season. That is actually nothing abnormal around here and He seems to be right on time, as it is half way through the year.

Some things will end while other things begin. I actually love that about Him. Some types of change are hard for me but others make me excited for something new and fresh.

While a lot of joy has been bubbling up in my heart, I heard the Lord say to me, “Pace Yourself.”

I laughed because He always must remind me of this. Once I know I go;)

This is not a sprint but a long distance race. I’m currently in physical therapy and have a major focus on strengthening myself for the long haul. Those are the little interruptions on my schedule I am not fond of. However, it’s all part of my race in this season.

If I don’t listen to His direction I won’t finish the race well, complete what He has called forward, or give hearts what they need, including mine.

So, I must pace myself.

Rest when it’s time to rest.

Press when it’s time to press.

Go away alone with Jesus regularly to reboot and keep a pretty strict, creative schedule.

I love what I get to do with the Lord. So, I run hard.

I was running some changes by one of my long time sweet ladies and she gently made sure I was not going to overload myself, so we talked it through.

In this season is God raising up some women among us to carry torches and expand our borders. It’s beautiful to watch.

While some fly on their own in this season, some join me in some works of the Lord. This helps me also pace myself while simultaneously getting them into their current Kingdom position.

Last week was the busiest in a while but so full of deliverance and new whispers of the Lord.

Listen, learn from what I’m learning still.

Pace…yourself…

God doesn’t overburden us. He graces us for what He anoints in any given season. Go where the fruit is. It is Him leading you.

So, this weekend I’m again relooking at my schedule, my appointments, my days and intentionally applying His command to me….as should you…

“Pace yourself…”
