“Normal”

“Normal”

“Normal”

You’ll walk through fire not once but often. You’ll have to learn to keep your head down and your eyes lifted to the hills when others choose to misunderstand you.

They’ll not get your reasoning of why you keep preaching so boldly. “Can’t he, or she, just be “normal.”

But he, or she, is “normal.”

When you comb the scriptures you’ll find “normal” is not what we see very often here in the west. We are often what the Bible calls lukewarm.

We are not hot nor are we cold.

People in the scriptures gave their lives for Christ and Kingdom entirely. Their time was His. Their money was His. Their land was His. Their future was His. Their children were His. All of it was His.

You’ll be called many names, especially if you’re a woman sold out for Christ. You’ll be unfriended for being too vocal. You’ll be the outcast in the midst of many a double-minded folks who can’t seem to decide if they are going to follow Jesus or their own hearts.

Let’s just call it what it is. Isn’t it the truth that sets us free? Perhaps we need to start pulling back the covers so the “little” snakes can be exposed.

When persecution comes however, they’ll come calling for you. Why? Because you have been with Christ and they will know you’ve received His guidance and hear His voice.

Because of this in the last days you’ll become a voice of reason instead of a voice of treason to those who once maligned you. You’ll be fearless because you have THE Leader of the heavenly army giving you your divine instructions. You’ll be the safe place for those no longer feeling safe because their house was indeed built on sand.

Your words carry not just wisdom but weight. It is a governmental weight that has permission to pronounce justice and command darkness to flee.

Many will be found within the scripture, “Jesus I know, Paul I know, but who are you?” Then suddenly the reality of powerlessness apart from Christ will hit like a ton of bricks.

You see,

You were “normal” all along.

The normal in the Kingdom is a royal priest of believers taking the land from darkness and bringing it into the light of Christ. Normal is standing against what compromises holiness rather than joining the crowd in pleasures leading to sin. Normal is a life of radical obedience where Heaven can trust you in situations because you have a proven “No” instead of a divided heart.

So, listen..

to all the hearts scorned for “not being normal.”

The truth is this:

You are what Christ calls “normal.”

So carry on soldier.
