There is no special person that you need between you and God.

Christ has fulfilled that role and it is finished.

We spend much time trying to place men (mankind) as all manner of a “go-between.”

The sheep each may hear and speak directly with the Lord. He is your great Shepherd.

You need no human intermediary to get Heaven to hear and respond to your cries.

There are no pastors, elders, husbands, wives, bishops, or saints that stand in the place of Jesus.

Yet we continue to teach, perhaps not realizing, that one has someone of authority that links you to the Father.

It is The Christ Jesus. And only He.

Wherever you are, He sees you. Call on Him and He will answer.

If you (and I) have unknowingly placed a person between you and Christ-there has been erected an idol.

Let us put every human being in proper place.

But only Jesus is Lord.
