Lead Me Lord…

A simple prayer for Him today…for He is trustworthy:) May we receive all He has for us while giving all we have to Him..

Lead Me Lord..

Lead me Lord to lands of fruit

Where freedom plants thy deeper roots

Lead me Lord to greater plights

To breath you in for greater sight.

Lead me Lord to care for those

That no one cares to even know.

Lead me Lord to shine thy heart

With kindness shown to those who mourn.

Lead me Lord to more than this

For I am flesh and settle quick

Lead me to thy passion plan

Use me Lord for healing hands.

Lead me Lord by child-like faith

Resisting proud and prideful ways

Lead me not to fear to speak

That which my heart longs to see.

Lead me Lord to pour thy grace

Laced with mercy which I too taste.

Lead me Lord to lay it all

At your feet…at the cross.

Lead me Lord oh help me see

That which I have yet believed!

Lead me Lord as David did

To battle fierce as war is near.

Lead me Lord to be so bold

To run through fire for all lost souls

Lead me Lord to never waste

Appointed time heaven has made.

Lead me Lord to mysteries more

Covered by this world’s folk lore

Lead me through thy wilderness

As secret shadows I resist

Make me as thy iron gates

Walls of bronze

Yet words of grace.

Lead me Lord to thy precious feet

To rest my bruised and weary knees

Lead me Lord with thine own strength

With Power flowing gently meek

Lead me to those streaming tears

To share with them all our years.

And if you lead me Lord to death

Rejoice will I to feel your breath

Praying there was nothing left

But many hearts to you I led.
