When you are on the verge of the new thing and the Lord has brought you out, you can be sure the enemy is near.

Don’t be surprised by a deep sucker punch right in the midst of a joy filled moment.

When the King’s work is about to emerge after a long toiling, understand the devil did not take a vacation. He will oppose your every step.

He will go for the throat. His aim is pretty accurate at times and no doubt he means the most harm to your heart.

It might take your breath away for a bit. You might face-plant for a while. You might even get angry for a few hours….shout and scream.

Tears may sling across the room and dampen everything in their line of fire.

The long suffering Savior will let you get it all out of your heart while patiently waiting for you…
