I am not counted among the known
There have been many times
I’ve had to walk alone.
The storms they have come
And the storms they have gone
Some have surely helped me to remain strong.
When I’ve stared into eyes from Hell
When I’ve felt the whispers of those baring tales
When I’ve had to run to a closet and yell
Christ does tend me back to health.
When the war seems bigger than I can win
When I have spent all my body can give
Just when I might think I’m down for the count
Christ sends His wind so the eagle can mount.
