Where is fear hiding in your heart and life?
Is the root of that thing traced back to your past or does it rest on your thoughts of tomorrow?
Are you afraid that the outcome will not be what you expect?
It likely will not be.
Trust Jesus.
His plan is always best.
Is it because you’re wrapped up in the opinion of others? Listen, it’s your crossroad moment friend- “Him…or…them.”
Take that plunge into destiny.
Is that fear lurking in a need to be accepted rather than rejected?
Jesus fully accepts you. Many people won’t. But Christ spent His time creating you and designing you to fulfill something only you can do. How lovely is that?
Perhaps there is a fear of loss?
Ahhh…tough one, huh?
In all honesty, there will be some losses, but there will be beautiful gains also. Remember Paul said, to lose is to gain.
I’ve found it to be true.
Has fear become a BFF who hangs out so much that you’ve rearranged your life to keep it comfortable?
No friend there! It’s bondage in disguise.
Fear.
It can be a spirit.
The good news about that is Jesus through you can evict the spirit of fear. Use your authority and tell it to leave.
Naturally, we may often fear change. (We are human.) The unknown. We weigh all the “What if’s.”
The weightier question is “What if you don’t?” “What will you miss if you let fear master you?
For years, I manipulated situations to keep myself safe from fear. Jesus would have nothing to do with that.
I learned that sometimes you just do it scared.
Most times that I have walked through fear, I could hear a kind whisper in my ear, “It wasn’t so bad was it?”
My answer has almost always been, “No, Lord, it wasn’t.” (With a grin)
Sometimes you don’t realize how bound you are from fear until you really get free from it.
