There is a sifting upon the earth.
The Lord is looking to and fro to find those with faith and He is also enlisting the faithful.
While this is an exciting moment in the history of the church because we have more opportunities than ever to be a bright light in much darkness, there is also something to ponder…
Some are asking God for more but you have not proven faithful with what He has already sent your way.
All manner of things take precedent over His work and assignments.
There is no commitment to the call.
Many do as little as possible, devoting little to no time to and with Christ, and daily reject the wooing of the Holy Spirit.
The moment another opportunity comes along-the assignment is dropped and pushed into second place.
There is a mission that must be protected. Christ made sure He was fulfilling the Father’s assignments.
You will have to buckle down and learn not to be moved.
When we drop the ball, there are dire consequences to hearts in need.
While Jesus is full of grace and mercy, His word is also clear:
His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your master!’ (Matt. 25:23)
Are we found trustworthy to carry that which Christ has assigned to us each?
Many need to reprioritize…
