Psa 141:4 – Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, To practice wicked works
With men who work iniquity; And do not let me eat of their delicacies.
Sometimes you’re reaping what someone else is sowing. This is why holy alignments are so important.
If a lack of integrity has been a problem I’d stay clear of aligning with “that “because eventually the Lord is going to need to deal with a root problem. Also, people can really get hurt and the scriptures clearly warn us of keeping cozy with corrupt company.
If character is questionable and you come into agreement with “that.” You’ll soon enjoy the fruit of those “delicacies.”
We can extend grace again and again but after a time wisdom says, “come on out of her.” I’m not wanting to partake of a plan devised by the devil. It causes an unnecessary warfare I just don’t need.
I’ve seen many turn a blind eye to the snake slithering so carefully in a room. Remember, true grace exposes sin but it sure doesn’t ignore it. You ignore it long enough it’ll take a leading role.
The truth is that many of us see the warning signs well in advance but we want to give too much time for God to correct things. Thus we keep ignoring His warnings.
Honestly it doesn’t always happen. People have free will and in many cases the devil is counting on you misunderstanding grace.
I’ve seen him rob many a ministry because we let him walk in and just have it. What we should have done is lovingly but firmly put a stop to it.
Eventually we let that behavior continue again and again so now we get to reap what they sow because we’ve allowed it to continue. That’s called reaping someone else’s consequences and it’s never helpful in this walk with Christ.
If this is you, you might need our Boundaries class soon, lol.
It’s actually enabling sin and nobody wins on either side of that one. It’ll continue and leave devastation at every turn.
So, long story, short.
I had a dream last week and something was moved that exposed a small but vicious gray snake. That snake raised up with a loud noise and was very aggressive. Its color signifies “mixture.”
When I pointed out the snake in the dream to others, I expected someone to crush its head with their foot but everyone just looked at it and ignored it.
In other words, the “mixture” was allowed to continue.
Some of you might have situations right now flooding your minds of recent red flags you’ve been trying to ignore.
Don’t…
Handle it …before it handles you.
Do not be led astray: “Bad company corrupts good morals.” 1 Corinthians 15:33
