Everlasting Mercies

Your everlasting mercy
Resounds into my ear
The subtle ways you love me
Brings many smiles and tears

Such overwhelming kindness
Beyond thy natural mind
A need only you fill, Lord
Through many years and times.

Oh God my heart is bursting
This morning as we sit
For words escape my lips, Lord
From all I long to present

O help me Father trust Thee
And see Thee closer still
Show me what you see Lord
That’s in Thy perfect will.

O could we share our moments
With authentic transparency?
Never fearing rejection
For in your hands I’ll keep.

Let me now pour it out Lord
This goodness of which I taste
And Father draw their hearts Lord
Even those who hate.
