Endless Love

I was driving to work this morning when I heard a word from a sermon that captured my heart. I had to pull over because I knew the Lord was about to give me a poem:)

Endless Love

What is this love that has no bounds

A well that does not dry

It is this love that hearts do need

When tragedy does collide.

A love that sees to inner pains

And offers one His hand

Won’t you take His offer, dear

He’d like to call you “friend.”

When all is lost and lonely comes

There is a love that’s fair

Standing right beside you, child

He knows your every hair.

That moment when your world collapsed

His arms, they, carried you

Pondered, you did, in your heart

“How’d I make it through?”

His love is deep and wide, you know

It covers every sin

Offering hearts another chance

To simply begin again.

If you’ve been lost and wandering

I have a wish for you

That as you read this every word

His love will shine on through.
