Sometimes fear causes us to delay a thing. The anxiety of the “start” begins to push us back, and we shrink back from the call.
Very often there is a leap required.
There is rarely a moment where Jesus gives you every future step you’ll make.
You’re going to have to go in faith.
If you’re waiting for every duck to be in a row, you’ll just keep waiting, I imagine.
The Lord has a way of scattering those ducks, so you’ll trust Him in the walking.
The enemy can easily derail you, delay you, and even paralyze you if you need everything to be perfect.
Those ducks will go down with a heavenly bowling ball, and you’ll have to decide whether you’re going to faithfully step into what He has entrusted to you.
The thing is, many are depending on you to get with it and just, “Go.” So when the devil delays you, he is also delaying others. It’s a domino effect. The devil is pretty sly. He knows exactly what he is doing.
Perfectionism is a thief of many a dream. It can rob you of the “NOW” moments and the adventurous heart of Christ.
Sometimes you have to just set your face like flint and know that while you’re ducks may not be in a row….Christ’s certainly are.
