Such a fascinating word, “derailed.” I heard it a few weeks ago and failed to sit and ask the Lord about it until this morning.
The enemy comes with you in mind
For what he sees is Christ inside
He knows thy call and sets his mind
To steal from you your gifts and rights.
Secured are you in Heaven’s Call
Yet Satan will come distract us all
And soon your train of destiny
Becomes derailed with lessened steam.
A train may not yet leave thy track
Yet it’s unable to finish laps
Moving stifled, no “forward go”
Stuck in time from Satan’s bow.
We must be wise to see his work
Discern thy good and evil lurks
For you may find that truth now is
You’ve been derailed just a slight bit.
You’ll have to now make some repairs
A little off can not propel
The tracks still strong and Christ He waits
For you to get back in your place.
A master of a ship knows best
The route that’s tuned by instruments
That if they veer the slightest bit
You’ll end up where Christ never meant.

“Derailment”- When a train runs off its rails
