Deliver me from the need for man’s approval.
Deliver me from the desire for the past.
Deliver me from religious chains that bind my soul.
Deliver me.
Deliver me from my inner self.
Deliver me from demonic rails.
Deliver me from all envy and green-eyed things.
Deliver me from the desire to be seen.
Deliver me from all anxiety.
Deliver me from seeping wounds that bleed
Deliver me from all chains that hide
Deliver me, Lord, on every side.
Deliver me, God, of inner wars
Where the Spirit and flesh keep me sore.
Deliver me Christ of sinful ways
that bring you grief when sorrow sways.
Deliver me.
Deliver me into Thy gentle hands
Where safety abides when stoned by man.
Deliver me from the endless cries
That pour on my pillow many a night.
Deliver me, God, to abundant lands
Where flowers they bloom white, yellow, and red.
Deliver me, Christ, into your deep heart
Where all of my fears are buried and locked.
Deliver me.
