Over my years with the Lord He has been teaching me discernment. A gift we all need to cultivate with Him. There have been many times I could not put my finger on something…or someone…yet I had a warning or hesitation internally. I have learned not to question it…all though sometimes I have..much to my detriment. Some warnings are not necessarily bad…it’s simply a gentle Father letting me know I am not to step into a certain area. Actually, some of the most difficult times of warning have been when something appears very good..yet is not God.

Satan is very crafty at heading off that which God has put into motion. He will divide and conquer. He will cause delays, confusion, and chaos..because he knows the possibilities. Do not think for one moment he did not hear the call on your and my life. As soon as he did…his plan went into motion.

Satan knows our weaknesses…and he will aim right at it. He is well skilled at playing the counterfeit. Whether it be a counterfeit situation when it’s decision time, or simply a counterfeit setup. We had all better be prayed up. He has stalled or stunted many a divine plan by rolling out counterfeit scenarios. You may say..well he can’t trump God’s plan? No…but we are man…full of sin..and truly he knows how to get the advantage on powerless and prayer-less believers. Unless we sit with Him, consume ourselves in Him, know His voice and heart on matters…we are likely to fall to a counterfeit plan of his.

So gird up….ask Him for His heart on daily matters, ministry matters, and by all means “test the spirits” and whether you understand or not..always heed the Holy nudges, checks in the Spirit, and caution flags. They are always for our good and protection.
