A serene forest stream flows over rocks, surrounded by moss-covered trees and lush green foliage. Soft light filters through the dense, misty woods, evoking the hush of a deafened church in this tranquil atmosphere.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

A Deafened Church

I see thine ears with plugs of white A Deafened church…religious hype.. Man made teachings… slowly seeped Year after year has covered each. Tunnel sounds no longer clear Power drained has burned and seared Grace has poured to draw thine…

The Surrendered Church

This morning as I sit with Thee Words come forth on bended knee Where is Thy Church O” Living God I sit and wait…I sit and knock. The Church is not surrendered child Full of self and prideful wiles Only…

A single white calla lily with a long green stem is illuminated by light, standing against a dark background with a narrow strip of bright vertical light on the right.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

Your Word

As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters. Song of Solomon 2:2   I am reading through Song of Solomon. He has given me a fascination for lilies:) I want to know His heart in this…

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

Clarion Call…

Dost thou hear Thy clarion call Crystal clear loud and tall. The King He comes To prod and chaste Herding all His sheep thru gates. Shrill is now the clarion blown Many now refuse it’s close Warning! Warning! Time is…

Embers

Embers shine O Fan thy flame Soon the light will be a haze Bright we must shine in this hour Letting not the dark devour. Dying is the fire fast Lost is faith and Holy paths Christ will soon come…

Long-exposure photo of a night sky showing star trails above a dark mountain range, with various streaks of light curving across the sky—an awe-inspiring display reminiscent of the Everlasting Mercies shining through the night.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

Everlasting Mercies

Your everlasting mercy Resounds into my ear The subtle ways you love me Brings many smiles and tears Such overwhelming kindness Beyond thy natural mind A need only you fill, Lord Through many years and times. Oh God my heart…

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

Settle..

For all, including myself, there are times of anxiousness. Knowing the next assignment and journey could be daunting and trying, I sit and talk to my Father. Quietly I whispered, “Just let me settle into your breath.” I guess that…

A close-up of a chain-link fence at night, with blurred lights in the background creating a soft, out-of-focus effect that hints at unseen barriers beyond the metal links.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

Unseen Barriers

Unseen barriers hear them clang Crash and close loudly bang As inside a prison cell Men and women held in jail Christ is calling out to thee Chains are of the enemy Locked you there I did not speak Bound…

A glowing streetlamp with two lights shines in the dark night, illuminating falling snowflakes. A red bow decorates the pole, and a faint outline of a building is visible in the background.

Flip a Coin

Flip a coin and you will see Deception of spirit Kundalini And flip again to the other side Where spirits loose legal minds. Magic is now good and fair Satan laughs this little snare Drawn we are to mystic mares…

A serene mountain landscape with snow-capped peaks and clouds, reflected on the calm surface of a lake under a blue sky—a scene that whispers, "I See You Lord," in every tranquil detail.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

The Former Things…

I’m restoring all the former things The ones who “speak”..the ones who “see” Those with lost identity I’m calling forth for these to sing. Ancient paths will soon be clear Calling all My prophet seers. Oh, they still exist today…

Shelly Wilson is a poet, psalmist, and messenger passionate about releasing a word in season to weary hearts.  Shelly is a champion for those who have lost their voice and she mentors many to become rooted in Christ in a way that raises them as modern day warriors. She is honored to birth out others with Christ-size dreams and is particularly fond of spotting the gifts in women and girls.  Her favorite thing to teach is how to hear God’s voice and cultivate awareness of His presence in every day life.  She loves to speak on how the scriptures are living and breathing by giving examples through creation testifying, Holy Spirit communion, or His language through prophetic eyes. She will often nudge others to take hold of child-like faith and wonder again.
