Sunlight streams through tall pine trees in a dense forest, casting long shadows on the bright green moss where Just a Girl pauses, surrounded by the quiet beauty of nature.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

I’m Just a Girl..

Over the past months I have noticed something I continue to say to the Lord as He shows me our path together. Specifically concerning my calling, my desire to obey Him, and my burden to share authentic relationship with…

View under a concrete pier at the beach, with ocean waves crashing against the pier’s pillars and sunlight illuminating the scene, creating a tunnel-like perspective toward the horizon.

Loss..

I was merely at the grocery store when I heard the Lord say…”Loss.” Seems such loss everywhere these days and so many needing comfort and love.  Through the valley, the Lord showed me what so many things felt like. Grief,…

Pour…

A few weeks ago I thought I had misplaced my journal. It was the journal I used the last 18 months and it was the journal that went through the valley with me. I could not believe I had misplaced…

A young girl sits alone on a bench by a lake, surrounded by trees. Text reads: Be still, and know that I am Lord. Psalm 45:10. The scene is peaceful and reflective, echoing the calm of an old hymn.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

If Ever I Have Loved Thee, Lord Tis Now…

He revealed Himself so beautifully to me on our walk today that I could not contain my praise for Him….He will stop at nothing to love on you when you pursue Him. Then you find out that really…He is pursuing…

A close-up of a marked-up Bible page. Text is highlighted in blue, pink, and green, with handwritten notes in black ink. Phrases like "He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted" and "Tis Not the Time" are emphasized.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

Tis Not the Time

As I read Isaiah 61 over and over the Lord gently reminded me that I am now His temple. He lives and dwells within me. When I died to self I surrendered all to Him. My plans, my dreams, my…

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

When the Vision Dies….

I have been reflecting on my last year and a half. I go through an ongoing process with the Lord where I remember His miracles, His moves, etc. They are my “stones of remembrance” to constantly remind myself and to…

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

Remember Your Position..

There is a world unseen. We talk about it, we read in the Word about it, yet we live as if it does not exist. We have been taught of Satan and his fall from heaven taking 1/3 of the…

A woman with long hair looks down, wearing a purple scarf and shirt. She stands on wooden planks outdoors, her heart-shaped pendant necklace inscribed with "I love you to the moon and back," capturing a tender moment worthy of a song.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

I’ve Seen What Father Sees….a song of his heart…

Christ has gifted us each through the power of the Holy Spirit. We must become a people…a church…who recognize and learn to use His gifts to strengthen the brethren and become vessels used for soul winning. I am finding He…

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

An Offering of Praise

There comes a time where it is impossible to express your hearts thankfulness for the Father. When you see Him tenderly pull you up and out of a long wilderness. Where there are no words long enough, deep enough, dramatic…

A pine tree against a clear blue sky with the text What is Beauty? inviting you to explore its meaning, and ShellyWilson.com at the bottom right.

Poetry and Ponderings by Shelly

What is Beauty?

Christ sees beauty entirely different than we do..He sees deeper. He sees from heaven’ glory…heaven’s perspective…wonder what would happen if we would ask Him to help us see too this way?   What is Beauty? Tell me of beauty Lord…

Shelly Wilson is a poet, psalmist, and messenger passionate about releasing a word in season to weary hearts.  Shelly is a champion for those who have lost their voice and she mentors many to become rooted in Christ in a way that raises them as modern day warriors. She is honored to birth out others with Christ-size dreams and is particularly fond of spotting the gifts in women and girls.  Her favorite thing to teach is how to hear God’s voice and cultivate awareness of His presence in every day life.  She loves to speak on how the scriptures are living and breathing by giving examples through creation testifying, Holy Spirit communion, or His language through prophetic eyes. She will often nudge others to take hold of child-like faith and wonder again.
