How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns! (Isaiah 52:7)
Listen, it won’t be long now before Jesus returns. At the least, today is closer than yesterday.
Buy up the time…
I learned this from a mentor and friend who have touched countless hearts in her 80 plus years on earth. I want to be like her when I grow up.
The hour is late. People are hurting.
What has Christ placed in your hands, today? It doesn’t have to be complicated, expensive, or hard. What gift can you put to work today for the sake of others?
The Christmas season gives us such an opportunity to share the light of Christ. Don’t let it get past you without an intentional loving on people.
I’ve seen a rolled-up poem with a ribbon break yokes by speaking directly to a heart in need. It wasn’t costly but it was perfectly timed by the Lord. It was all that was needed.
The thought really does count.
Make a plan. Who is in need in this season? Be a part of filling that need in Jesus name.
I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13)
