I asked O Father what this means
“Brace Yourself.”

Do I go warn the others Lord
“Brace Yourself.”

Will Thou please tell me more dear Lord

I slip away to hear more clear
“Brace Yourself.”

I come against a spirit of fear
“Brace Yourself.”

I see the hand upon the wall

A writing hand from Heaven’s home
