¹⁰ Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me indeed and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.

Never has God asked this of me that He did not have something in His heart. As that prayer daily was lifted up to Him, He began leading me to prepare for more travel. His words to “roll out a map” stirred so in my heart as I remembered Corrie Ten Boom’s stories of God directing her to places and without hesitation, or even provision…she went. I do believe God is readying a people to simple GO when called. The world is changing..many will be against us, yet we must not stand down in this hour.

With no knowledge of what God had placed in my heart, my Pastor’s wife called to share with me a conversation she had just had with a precious woman who is also a wonderful PTSD counselor at our church. They had been discussing that they needed to “get Shelly back on the road ministering..” So, confirmation came beautifully and was so encouraging:) Isn’t the Lord so beautiful! When He wants to do something…He will let us know!

I also have to give another praise that has touched my heart as a gentleman from church spoke with me at the Night at the Well event last Friday evening. He has been diagnosed with a possible cancerous tumor. While awaiting results, God had him pick up the From My Closet to Yours poetry magazine and as He flipped it open His eyes rested upon page 5, “be still and watch the salvation of the Lord..” and He knew the Lord has just given Him a touch. Just last Sunday he gave a report that he is cancer free. Halleluyah!

That story is why we keep going friends….many many need encouragement…no time to quit now. Many need The Christ in you and the gifts He has given us. It is time we learn to possess the land.
