As many of you already know, I had an out-of-state event this past weekend.
There was more at play than you (and I’m sure even I) realize.
For a number of years, I haven’t been able to travel alone in ministry much. I had some major warfare, particularly in the geographic area I was heading to, that always came hard and heavy. Strange things would happen with my health, and other things, etc. It was very frustrating.
The last time I was alone in Louisiana, I woke in the night and almost passed out in the hotel room. I had to pack my things and leave early.
Prior to this, I had been traveling alone for years. I had flown and driven to many states across the country in my business days, even before the ministry began.
I had made this specific trip many times on my own and would even head over to Mississippi afterward for other ministry meetings.
Like clockwork, the past two weeks I would be awakened in the night with a spirit of fear of this trip coming….it would come in my dreams through a real taunting spirit and I had nightmares even two nights before leaving.
Also in this warfare -load of fun-was an episode of my heart racing a few times even one day before leaving.
By this time the showdown with the devil was well underway, and I was getting a good dose of righteous anger building as I let the devil know, “I am going….if I perish, I perish.”
You see, he forgot a few things.
I’m not even the same girl from 2 years ago. I’ve learned a few things, myself.
God raised me up in deliverance ministry, so I’m not afraid of demonic warfare….but they sure are afraid of me.
He forgot that I knew whose I was and that I know on any divine assignment I would be carried solely by Christ, the commander in chief! My bridegroom never leaves me alone. Wherever I am, He is also!
He forgot that I know well that Shelly Wilson is dead and only Christ lives in me so that devil isn’t really fighting me but Jesus, Himself.
News flash: Jesus always wins!!!
Yep, he forgot a lot of things…
But, here’s the deal,
I didn’t…
I made the trip all…by…myself…(and Jesus of course)
And I set out to make sure that devil was paid back well for his attempts…
So…all in all…it was a great date with the devil:):))))))))))))))))))))))))
Shelly and Jesus-another win!!!
Devil-Still ZEROOOOOOOOOOOO.
