Following Men

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
(John 10:27)

Be careful Saint of following men

For you may be deceived by many of them

See Satan he comes as an angel of light

Can you discern between God’s wrong and God’s right?

A half-truth is still yet a whole lie

Satan tried this in the desert with Christ

You must now see with Kingdom eyes

Or you will be led by Satan’s demise.

Stay in the Word for it is upright

Turn off the news and sit down with Christ

Call out to Heaven, He answers for sure

Where O’ dear child do you look for truth?

If the TV has become a place for your food

You’ll be left empty and anger will brood

Where is your time spent now the most

In the prayer closet or watching show hosts?

Do not be led by voices on earth

Following men, or women, or worse

What we need now is fire from the throne

Purging each heart for Heaven to call home.
